Inclusion in India Inc
Biz Divas in partnership with IIM Ahmedabad is organizing Research summit “Inclusion in India Inc” on 23rd January 2015 at IIM Ahmedabad campus. This Summit is a part of the first research study to understand ‘Inclusion’ specific to India which would be followed with a Research Report.
OBJECTIVE:
This Summit is a part of the first research study to understand ‘Inclusion’ specific to India. It will explore beliefs and mind-sets operating in the Indian social and corporate environment that would lead to a robust understanding of extent, issues, and way forward on ‘Inclusion’ in Indian corporates.
The study aims to look at country specific inclusion around the following dimensions of diversity:
- Regional & Societal
- Gender & Generational
- Geographical
- Differently abled
OUTCOME:
Inclusion as a subject can be subjective as it is based on mind sets and values. The outcome of the study is to come out with a Research report intended to give clarity on
- A common language and definition of Inclusion and its meaning to Indian Corporates
- An outline of associated behaviours at the workplace leading to ‘Inclusion/Non Inclusion’ from a cultural and societal context
- A summary of Challenges faced in organizations due to non-Inclusion
- A list of possible solutions to make Inclusion work in India
- A best practice story list of corporates who have done commendable work in Inclusion.
STUDY PLAN:
- Publishing of a Position Paper – 10th January 2015
- Summit at IIM Ahmedabad – 23rd January 2015
- Survey – 1st Feb to 15th March
- Report Launch at I INSPIRE, Gurgaon – 17th April 2015
We are inviting select 40 Corporates across diverse industries to be part of this study. Maximum 2(two) senior individuals working in the space of D&I in the organisation can be nominated from the same organisation.
Registration charges are INR 25,000 + taxes per participant.
